Hey everyone!
Welcome to another Fashion Friday! Move over maxi skirts, there’s a new girl in town!
So okay, we are soooooo familiar with those ever popular maxi skirts and then those asymmetrical trapeze style shirts, aka Swing Dress. Naturally it needed to transition to a cool summer style – the maxi asymmetrical trapeze dress as seen here. I am currently loving this silhouette.
Can you imagine my excitement for this fall season when I spotted them on the runways? YAY!! (check it out here).

I love them and I have 4 reason why YOU should, too!
1 – This asymmetrical hemline with a trapeze silhouette dress is crazy hip and incredibly flattering!!
2 – Because HELLO, fall/winter is on its way and this look is fabulous when we may have a little more to eat than we should with the candy, pies, and cookies – OH MY!
3 – Elegant comfort. Like the maxi dress, it’s chic and really comfy to wear, and you don’t need to worry about a matching top!
4 – It twirls and flows effortlessly. Guarantee to satisfy your most inner girlish twirling whims!
The dress does not sit still and my iphone could not contain my twirlish whims (aka sorry for the blurry photos!).

Sometimes, I get a little worried over my shapeless body… during those times, especially in this shapeless dress, I love to belt this look.

Fun fact, ever since I saw someone at Teen Vogue tie a belt around someone’s waist, I have been hooked ever since!

And never fear my dears, the natural twirling function of this dress remains in tact when belted!
What about the DIY, you ask?
Well, I did make this dress and the mismatching of the sleeves was inspired from an Antonio Berardi dress found from his Fall 2014 RTW collection as seen here.
Again, as mentioned last week, mismatch of colors and patterns are good for this fall/winter season.
So how can you recreate this look?
Here are 3 easy ways,
1 – You can find a similar pattern here or here or here
2 – Use what you got! Check out the uneven hemlines of layered looks found HERE.
3 – Tell me you want the pattern! You like it and I will recreate it a few sizes for everyone to share on the site – for FREE!
I really love this dress and wore it around today.
Honestly, it was so fun.
It’s kinda windy this afternoon and the breeze effortlessly blows through and lifts the hemline, I felt as though I was walking through the clouds.
Such a fun a glamorous feeling. haha!!
and you know, the compliments were really fun to get, as well.
So what trends are you loving this fall?
What fun things have you been creating?
I had a massive disaster of a design choice in my living room this last week and I have shamefully kept it to myself…
but don’t worry, I will spill the beans as soon as I make it right!
Until then, have a glamorous day!
