Hi again!
After last week’s post, I thought I would do something a little easier for this week…
couture wipes me out. hehe
So okay, I spotted the most glam necklace from Juicy Couture‘s fall 2014 RTW collection,
AND I knew it was something we (yes, YOU) could easily remake.
EASILY.

Did I mention it was easy?
Additionally, you know me with my million kids, accessories have gotta be affordable AND fabulous.
So while I was out shopping for diaper rash cream – living the life, yo – at Walmart, I decided to visit their craft section.
Everything I needed to create this DIY Juicy Couture inspired necklace was found in their bead section of their craft department.
Here’s what I used:
- 1 package of rhinestone studded beads (comes in pack of 11)
- 1 package of chunky gold chain, this double gold chain was the perfect length for moi
- Head pins, enough for each bead
- Seed beads to secure large studded beads
- Chain Nose Pliers, ALSO bought at Walmart it’s a 3-in-1 little gadget and I love this thang
I am crazy visual, so I like to lay out everything before committing to a project like this…
Step 1.
String 1 seed bead and your studded bead onto a head pin.
Step 2.
Wire wrap at the top of each studded bead and attach onto a chain link.
If you are unfamiliar with Wire Wrapping, read THIS first.
Continue this process until all the beads are attached and centered on your gold chain.
Step 3.
The chain package came with jump rings and a clasp. Attach jump rings and clasp to the end of the necklace.
Optional.
Now I could have stopped there but I didn’t, I wanted MORE.
Luckily, while I was shopping for this tutorial, I also picked up this bow charm.
Seriously, it’s completely fabulous.
I love bows, I love stripes, and that whole black and white combo – WOW!
So, take off the clasp, add a couple more jump rings to the end, and attach the bow charm!
and that’s it, your Juicy Couture inspired necklace is complete!
So RAD, right?
I love this necklace, and it’s so me.
Hard, sassy, sparkly, smart, and cheap thrifty. hehe
Pretty darn close to the real one, right? AND less than $15 to make, if you have some beading stuff already!
